đŸ’Ș My top 10 highlights from 2024

Writer's picture: EnunciateEnunciate

Prediction pieces, top 10 year-in-review highlights, happy holiday videos — it must really be December!

Not only do I love ingesting these pieces (who doesn’t?), but at Enunciate, we’ve also been busy creating them for our clients. (Check out two here and here.) Plus, it’s given us a chance to reflect on this past year, consider our clients’ milestones and achievements — and to ask ourselves what we’ve learned from it all.

⭐ What will we stop or continue doing?

⭐ How will we evolve with the times?

⭐ What are the new goals that we’re setting our sights on?

⭐ And why does it matter?

With that in mind, I’m so excited to share my own 2024 highlights with you:

1. Writing the news with our clients’ stories

With excellent storytelling and a timely touch, PR really is the power to shape the news. This year, we worked with our clients to land great press and important exposure for their organizations, including:

2. Getting together with clients IRL

Yes, we’re remote first and always, and yet, it’s a true joy when we’re able to connect with our clients — the people we communicate with day in and day out — in person. Some highlights from 2024 included spending the day at North Shore Hebrew Academy High School and wishing we could go back in time, immersing ourselves in MÂČ’s 18x18 summit and Senior Educators Cohort seminar, and heading to DC for a fascinating discovery session with leaders in the architecture, engineering, and construction space.

3. Guiding educational leaders to amplify their impact

It was a pleasure to lead workshops for Prizmah, all focused on helping school leaders tell their stories, engage their communities, and increase their prospective student base. I especially loved collaborating with the Prizmah team, whose feedback was essential in delivering these interactive and impactful sessions even amid challenging times.

4. Expanding the reach of industry leaders’ thought leadership

One of my favorite things is kicking off content creation with industry leaders who have so much knowledge and expertise but have yet to share it with the world. I know that once we begin, they’ll build their brand and increase their engagement both online and offline in incredible ways. Plus, on a personal note, I love the opportunity to learn from fascinating, brilliant people like this head of school, educational consultant, AEC founder, and women’s philanthropy manager.

5. Sharing my own thought leadership

This year, I set out to do for myself what we do for our clients every single day — share my expertise and build my own personal brand. As to be expected, I love writing and creating, so not only has this endeavor been good for business, it’s also been a lot of fun! Plus, it’s led to great results: more people understanding our scope of work plus connecting with new clients. Check out some posts here: 38 professional learnings from 38 years, why you look great, unboxing client marketing material, and how to get started on social media.

6. Diving into AI with a full heart

In September, I flew to San Francisco for Nas Summit — which provided a crash course in AI-powered content creation from a range of experts. Within 36 hours, I was hooked, spending the plane ride home hungrily trying out new tools. Since then, our team has tapped into AI for template creation, prompts, idea generation, and more. Sometimes I joke that I should change my name to R-AI-chel, but I’m not quite there yet.

7. Joining a community for women in fintech

If you work in fintech and don’t follow Nicole Casperson’s Fintech is Femme, please do! This year, our team attended three of Nicole’s fantastic events, connecting with tons of other people in the field — including a new client, upping our content, and most of all, enjoying how empowering it is to be in a room with other women in fintech. I hope that one day these communities exist for all of the industries we serve!

8. Transforming educational programming into content that wows

We are privileged to work with a number of educational organizations, and create strategies that go beyond simply sharing updates. Instead, we create content to drive their recruitment and engagement goals — shedding light on programming that connects to their mission and showcases their everyday and long-term impact. Some of our recent faves include this one and this one.

9. Working alongside talented and kind individuals

Key to agency success is working well with so many different clients who have so many different needs, personalities, and communication likes and dislikes — and ensuring we flex and adapt as needed while always thinking ahead. That’s why we’re grateful that our team, with members located from New York to Boston and from Canada to Italy, is not only talented and smart, but also super kind, receptive, and excited to do great work.

10. Letting curiosity and passion lead the way

If you don’t absolutely love what you do, why spend your days doing it? That’s my mindset, and I know how fortunate I am to not only be multi-passionate, but to give my curiosity and passion free rein every day. Our clients’ missions and work genuinely excite us — as does spreading awareness of the amazing things they’re doing in the world. What a gift it is to not only learn from industry leaders, but to ensure their communities can as well.
